APPLICATION

Submersible mixers are used for the homogenization of heavy sludge or liquids containing solid parts, for the removal of sedimentary deposits and to avoid ice formation.
 
CONSTRUCTION DATA

Submersible mixers  with a rugged construction; watertight electric motors accommodated in compartments and connected by shafts of reduced lengths  to the impellers which are placed between the hydraulic side and the electric motor by the interposition of an oil chamber. Asynchronous, three phase electric motors, squirrel cage type, IP 68 protection and class H insulation. They are designed for the continuous service S1 with a maximum overloading up to 10% and environmental cooling at a <40ºC. Starts up to 15 per hour. Motor cooling comes through thermal exchange with the surrounding fluid.

Series GM: motor housing in Cast iron EN-GJL-250; propeller in Stainless steel AISI 316; electric cable in Neoprene H07RN/F; shaft in Stainless steel AISI 420; o-rings in Nitrile; bolts A2 class; mechanical seal in Silicon Carbide/Silicon Carbide.
Series XM: motor housing in Stainless steel AISI 316; propeller in Stainless steel AISI 316; electric cable in Neoprene H07RN/F; shaft in Stainless steel AISI 316L; o-rings in Viton; bolts A4 class; mechanical seal in Silicon Carbide / Carbide / Viton.
